I am the Alpha and Omega!

Today I learned some new and interesting information about the jet stream.  The image below shows an omega high.  Sort of similar to the omega sign in the Greek Alphabet.

This pattern in the jet stream usually means that the weather will stay consistent for the next few days and sometimes continues for a week straight.  We shall see what happens.

In our area there is a good amount of cloud cover and the wind is blowing to the North West ever so slightly.  No precipitation in the area as well.

Yes and I will be creating some maps of surface data that I compiled so keep a look out for that!
