The weather included a light drizzle around noon and cloudy overcast throughout most of the day. The temperature had been around the 30's and the wind was pretty breezy.  Creating a rather cold day!  The weather should be good but there could be some snow in our area later this week, and that will have to be watched and see what happens.

Today the whole sky laid out by slide of different levels of it.

This height at 925 millibars is very similar to surface winds.  This map can locate low pressure areas and high pressure areas.  This could along with the others combined can show a relative path that the storm could follow most of the time. Pay attention to the large low pressure area over New Mexico.  It shifts but this reveals the path.  

 The 700 millibar shows that low pressure center over Colorado now.  This is really farther up in the atmosphere and the wind direction around it could determine the low pressure area to move to the North East.  

This is the 500 mb height once again farther away from the surface of the earth.  That trough over the Rockies reveals the low pressure area.  As well as bringing cooler air temps with it from the North.

This 300 mb level is right around where the jet stream usually is and that would show where that same trough could be blown over to the North East.  

The storm that is to the East of Eau Claire has a great chance of hitting us in the early morning or tomorrow for sure and bring some precipitation in the form of rain or snow or both.  

The large mositure cloud is right over us and the wind will push that low pressure area right to us.

The sun came out for a large portion of the day and no precipitation occurred.

There is some possibility of precipitation tomorrow.  The moisture is in the clouds and could bring some tomorrow.  The jet stream also shows the pattern for the precipitation coming toward us.  The High pressure area is moving in.  This could alter the precipitation but there is a higher chance of precipitation occurring.

Today was very lovely outside and the sun was shining throughout the whole day.  The sky was partly cloudy   and had no precipitation today which was nice.  However, my forecast was not entirely accurate the other day.  I predicted some precipitation but none rained down.  It was extremely nice to see the sun since it was gone for awhile.

There is a possibility of precipitation tonight with the low pressure area coming in to focus it is a great chance that it will happen.  f

Today was overall, one of the worst for traveling.  I took a journey and the roads were very icy and slushy causing many drifts and close calls that could probably have been pretty bad.  The day included snow, sleet, rain and everything in between.  The sky was heavy overcast and had a continual reign of fury that was unleashed upon us.

Low pressure area and the rain that could last well into tomorrow.  The high pressure area is showing dominance over the low pressure area and dispersing it.  Hopefully, the precipitation will slowdown late tomorrow.

Another bit of bad luck today with more snow but not really any accumulation.  A plus is today the sun came peeked out of the sky for a bit and I think brightened everyone's day.  The maps below show the current condition.  There is a low pressure area upon us and more precipitation is not likely tonight .  However, there is a lare amount of moisture to the West of EC and could bring some tomorrow if the low pressure area hold true.
